Harold and Cindy Lederer have completed two years of service as volunteer coordinators and ended their commitment on June 30, 2008. Volunteers are also encouraged to inquire with the volunteer programs established at St. Rose de Lima and St. Clare (see LINKS section on this website).
As your volunteer coordinators we will connect you to homeowners who are able to use the skills you bring when you volunteer. We will help to assess the primary needs of the homeowners and supply you with the necessary tools for you to get the job done. (article about the Lederers)
Materials to complete your projects will be purchased by the homeowner,
the coordinators as funded by the outreach of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, or if you so desire you can assist by donating funds to the project you are to complete.
On the following pages are some guidelines to assist you in planning your trip to Bay Saint Louis and the gulf coast region. After your parish group, club or college decides to come to assist with the rebuilding effort in this area, choose dates for your trip on the calendar link and give us as much information as you can about the workers' abilities. We will be glad to hear from you so call with questions.
